J.R. Sabater, S.A. is a company established in 1976, its first activity being only Wine Vinegar Packaging. Subsequently, in 1982, the construction project for the Vinegar Manufacturing and Packaging plant was completed, as well as a Quality Control Laboratory.

Manufacturing and packaging plant in Cabezo de Torres, Murcia. The industrial plant is located on a plot of 7,500 m2 in the town of Cabezo de Torres, a town located 5 km from the city of Murcia.

From 1982 to the present day the company has progressively implemented new equipment and machinery applying the latest technology for the manufacture and packaging of vinegars. All this investing effort and technology has led J.R. Sabater, S.A. is currently a benchmark and one of the leaders of the sector with a productive capacity of 60 million liters.

Another turning point in the history of the company occurred in 2004. This year started the construction of another Manufacturing and Bottling Plant in Jerez de la Frontera, as well as another fully equipped Control and Quality Laboratory. In addition, a vinegar aging wine cellar with Certificate of Origin Jerez was built in this plant. The winery began the aging of vinegars with 8,000 French and American oak barrels.

The plant is located on a plot of 5,000 m2 in the heart of Jerez de la Frontera; and is part of the Consejo Regulador de Vinos y Vinagres de Jerez de la Frontera.

In 2007, the project was concluded and the bottling of the first shipments of the manufactured and 100% aged Vinagre de Jerez Reserva at the Jerez Plant was started.

In the 2008 J.R. Sabater started the year getting the certifications in BRC and IFS.

During 2009, the project for the development of another family of products parallel to the traditional range of vinegar was addressed. The works focused on products related to syrups and liquid candies. This project concluded in 2010 with the implementation of the most modern technology for the manufacture of Balsamic Creams, Syrups and Liquid Caramels.

In 2011, the new products developed during the previous year are released to the market. Specifically, the Chocolate Syrups, Strawberry Syrups and Liquid Caramel. These products are available in different formats, according to the distribution channel.
